Board of Directors

Frank D. Edens
Attorney Frank D. Edens is President and CEO of USLegal, Inc. and has been a driving force behind the remarkable growth of USLegalForms.com. Edens recognized early on that the Internet would fundamentally change the way people get legal information and how lawyers offer their services. In 1995, Edens and partner Lem Adams owned their first Internet company, LawNetCom, Inc. (LNC). It was success with LNC that paved the way for Edens and Adams to found U.S. Legal Forms, Inc. in 1998 and subsequently USLegal, Inc. in 2005.

Edens has practiced law since 1985 and is a managing partner of Adams & Edens law firm in Brandon, Mississippi. He received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University (B.S., 1979) and graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School in 1984 (J.D. Cum Laude, graduated 2nd/79). Edens was raised in Okolona, Mississippi and is a graduate of The Webb School, Bell Buckle, Tennessee (Cum Laude 1975) where he was member of Perfect Council.

Lem Adams, III
Attorney Lem Adams, III is Vice Presidenmat of USLegal, Inc. and is co-founder of USLegalForms.com, USLegal.com and MSlawyer.com. Adams has engaged in the general practice of law in Rankin County, Mississippi since 1973 and is a managing partner of Adams & Edens law firm in Brandon, Mississippi.

Adams was elected to office of County Prosecuting Attorney, served as City Attorney for Brandon, Pelahatchie and Flowood and has been a past member of the Mississippi Supreme Court Advisory Committee. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Mississippi in 1970 and his Juris Doctor from University of Mississippi in 1973.

John N. Palmer
John Palmer is a member of the Board of Directors of USLegal, Inc. and is a principal investor in the Company. Palmer is a well-known entrepreneur, telecommunications pioneer, and community leader. He began his career in telecommunications with the purchase of a local radio common carrier in 1965. By 1973, he had developed more than nine regional paging companies throughout the South. That year, he formed Mobile Communications Corporation of America (MCCA). During his 16-year tenure as Chairman and President, MCCA grew to become a significant force in the cellular telephone business. In 1989, Palmer sold MCCA to BellSouth but retained certain businesses that became SkyTel Communications. These operations included SkyTel's domestic one-way paging and advanced messaging system and Latin American paging services. SkyTel became a leader in advanced wireless messaging and deployed the first nationwide two-way wireless messaging network. Palmer served as Chairman of SkyTel until its sale to MCI WorldCom in 1999.

Palmer was appointed U.S. Ambassador to Portugal by President George W. Bush and held the post from 2001- 2005. Prior to his appointment as Ambassador, Palmer was Chairman of GulfSouth Capital, Inc. in Jackson, Mississippi, which helped finance tech companies. He was also appointed by President Bush to sit on the President's Export Council as a Private Sector Advisor to the Secretary of Commerce and by President Reagan as the Private Sector Trade Advisor to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. A native of Mississippi, Palmer received both a bachelor's degree and M.B.A from the University of Mississippi.

J. Kirby Lane
Kirby Lane is Chief Finance Officer of USLegal, Inc. and its subsidiaries.

Lane is a CPA and business manager with more than 20 years experience serving as CFO for both public and private companies. Previously, Lane was CFO for Employees Express, Inc. and Pallet Reefer International, LLC based in Houma, LA. He has also served as CFO for Delta Pride Catfish, Inc. in Indianola and was Executive Vice President and CFO for KLLM Transport Services, Inc. based in Jackson, MS.

John Van Landeghem
John Van Landeghem is Chief Strategy Officer for USLegal, Inc. and its subsidiaries.

Perviously, Van Landeghem was Chief Operating Officer at The Park Companies. He has also worked for Deere & Company as Division CFO - Europe, Africa & Middle East as well as Commercial and Consumer Equipment Division CFO, Global Management Consultant for McKinsey & Company, and Credit Analyst and Real Estate Lending Officer for NCNB (now Bank of America). John has a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University and a MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Travis R. Finseth
Travis Finseth is Chief Technology Officer for USLegal, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Finseth oversees and works on technology infrastructure, web architecture and design for the Company.

Finseth comes to USLegal via WorldCom where he had extensive telecom engineering experience and web development for corporate intranet systems. Finseth received both a bachelor's degree and M.S. in Management from Belhaven College.

Carrie Anna Criado
Attorney Carrie Anna Criado is Director of Public Relations for USLegal, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Criado develops communication strategies to promote the Company and also works with the U.S. Legal Forms Production Department.

Criado has worked for KVII-TV (Amarillo), KEYT-TV (Santa Barbara), KUHT-TV (Houston), the First Amendment Center at Vanderbilt and has served as a law clerk for the Federal Communications Commission. She also taught media law and journalism courses at Middle Tennessee State and Southern Methodist University. Criado received a BA in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin (1988) and earned a juris doctorate from the University of Houston (1995). She is licensed to practice law in Texas and Tennessee.

Jayne M. Welch
Attorney Jayne Welch is Director of Quality Control for U.S. Legal Forms.

Previously, Welch maintained a private general practice and also served as an assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Waterbury, Connecticut. She received her bachelor's degree (cum laude) from Duquesne University (BSBA, 1990). She was awarded her juris doctorate degree from Tulane Law School in 1993. Welch is a member of the Connecticut State Bar.

Craig S. Miller
Craig Miller is Director of FormsPass.com, a subsidiary of USLegal, Inc., charged with selling and marketing the subscription based product to the attorney and library customer bases.

Previously, Miller was SE Channel Manager at The Miller Brewing Company, a leading brewer of malt beverages globally. He started his career working for The Coca-Cola Company for seven years in various sales positions in their Foodservice National Accounts Group and was with Dover Industries Foodservice Equipment Division leading their National Accounts Group. Craig has a BA in Political Science from Lehigh University and a MSM in Marketing/Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology Graduate School of Business. Craig joined the company in January 2007.

Karen Haralson
Karen Haralson is Director of Customer Service for USLegal, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Karen has been with the Company since it was founded and was its first employee.

Kaya Yurtkuran
Kaya Yurtkuran works in Search Engine Marketing for USLegal, Inc. and its subsidiaries.

Yurtkuran graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1974. He was employed with Merrill Lynch where he specialized in options and commodities trading. Prior to moving to Mississippi, Kaya worked with George S. Mays Co., as a business consulting firm catering to small to medium size companies. Previously, Kaya served as the Treasurer/Secretary for Calhoun Pitch International Inc. from 1993 until joining US Legal Inc. in October 2005.
